    The voucher program is going to crater the education system in Ohio more than it already is. The entire point of public education is to create community, good citizens, and aid to children especially the needy. Now they are being drained of life to feed private schools, especially religious schools to segregate and perpetuate that segregation while crushing teachers and school professionals.

    You left so much of Lancaster's history out. Like feeling in the public pool with cement because you would rather your children not be able to enjoy swimming in a pool, is it meant they were allowed to. I'm amazed that you didn't speak about, White, Lancaster, Ohio. Fairfield county. You are even sugar coating arguments about the south and slavery. And you know, if you're proud, then own it. I love how you refer to crime, homeless, junkies and what happened Lancaster, but you won't acknowledge why you believe that it's like that because of that halfway house for drunks and assholes who still get to go to work, right there next to the Dollar General. Kind of odd that all the locals filled it up. Having the longest running newspaper in Ohio, I would think you would know all about it.

    "The Marijuana of today is more potent than the Marijuana 40 years ago". Uhh, not it's not. It's the same. And I can even cite a RCMP video from around 40 years ago (1980s) in which they explain how potent HOME GROWN marijuana they have encountered was, (hint, it's the same). Before home growing, most smokers got their cannabis from Mexico, (called dirt weed, mexican brick, etc.) which had a low THC percentage but there were still homegrowers back then who would take those seeds and produce more potent buds due to better growing methods.

    • @watchingitallhere
      @watchingitallhere 10 дней назад

      Sorry but you are misinformed... The strains of today are selectively bred for potency, and way more potent.

    • @NeutralUnderstanding
      @NeutralUnderstanding 10 дней назад

      @@watchingitallhere Lol like I said, I can cite evidence from the 1980s showing that the "high potent levels" were just from better growing practices. There is no way you can take a low THC strain of cannabis and mix it with another low strain to create a higher THC level, it doesn't work like that. That's fantasy. The only reason why cannabis was, "low potency" back then was because most of it came from Mexico where it was grown in large open fields, usually got pollinated (resulting in seeds) and the pollination causes the buds not to grow as big and not to get as potent. For example, the mexican brick cannabis had a potency of 4%, (due to poor farming practices like I stated) but if you took one of the seeds of that bud and grew it using the right equipment/techniques, you can have a much higher THC percentage, (depending on the strain).

    Springfield is often pooh poohed. The Wescott Home is a jewel! I worked with a young man in the mid-late 1980s who claimed his mother owned the home. He spoke of the home, having been split into four apartments and needed repairs. We (the area residents) KNEW the home was a Frank Lloyd Wright design BUT the FLW conservancy denied its exitstance far several years. It took concerted effort to prove the home is indeed one of his designs. It has been a wonder to watch the area around the home change to reflect its history! The home helps anchor that particular historic district. Please come and visit. You won't be disappointed.
